Beautiful Japanese Corner Cuboard Requires TLC

Really Beautiful but does need some repair work, 
Assuming to be Japanese or in the style of, 
The original owners apparently had the door made and then fitted it to the corner cabinet.
The craftsmanship of the panel is exquisite, unfortunately some parts of the bird’s wings are missing.
